Since Milwaukee continues to be in the news for the horrible outcomes caused by their complete lack of pursuit management, I decided to engage with two reporters: Stephanie Quirk (@stephanietquirk), FOX6 News Milwaukee and David Clarey, investigative reporter for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Police chases are not rare in Milwaukee.
In fact, pursuits are so frequent Milwaukee officers engage in between two and three every day, according to a city report in 2024.
What are rare, though, are pursuits that end in death, like the Aug. 6 police chase that resulted in a 17-year-old being killed after crashing into a tree.
